About Daniel ShenSmith – The BlackBeltBarrister

Daniel ShenSmith, widely known as the BlackBeltBarrister, is a practising Barrister of England and Wales. He is also a Mediator and the Director at ShenSmith Law. Daniel holds a First-class Honours Bachelor of Laws, a Distinction Master of Laws in Legal Practice (Barristers), and achieved a Distinction in the Bar Professional Training Course (BTPC).

With a passion for making law accessible to everyone, Daniel created the popular YouTube Channel, BlackBeltBarrister. Through this platform, he provides free legal guidance and explains different aspects of law, legal principles, and procedures. His aim is to demystify the often complex legal world and help individuals understand their rights and responsibilities.

Daniel is a member of The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. He practises from his own firm and chambers and is also a full barrister and mediator member at Clerksroom.

Outside of his legal career, Daniel is a 6th Dan martial artist, embodying the discipline and precision of his training in his approach to law. As an entrepreneur, he continually seeks innovative ways to deliver legal services and advice.
